Its a funny thing when someone unexpectedly pops up in your consciousness. Taking you back to another time and place. This time and place was in 2018 in the Santa Cruz mountains on an incredibly beautiful, early Spring day. Christa and I shot together for Me In My Place in her tiny home and on the surrounding property. I’d absolutely love to shoot with her again, but alas, she’s no longer on the West Coast. Lenore Volume One
One of my favorite shoots from the Me in My Place days. I can’t recall how I found her, but I’m sure glad I did. We shot together in her then home in Oakland on a warm morning on the Vernal Equinox. The first day of spring. I love these old Oakland houses and she had it decorated in a perfect, bohemian, slightly macabre style. This one is a little naughtier than normal. Sorry, not sorry. Lenore is on a hiatus from social media, but you can still follow her Instagram here. She moved to New York shortly after this. I’d love to shoot with her again some day.
Lana Shay
Lana is another model I shot for Me In My Place, once upon a time. I can’t recall how I got connected with her. Probably stumbled across her Instagram. She and I have a few friends in common up in NorCal. Its been awesome to watch her life and business blossom. She’s a coach and teacher, writer, proud sex worker and lover of life. We spent a warm, late spring afternoon in her bedroom with all the windows open. Taking photos and chatting about psychedelics. . . Heather Monique
Heather Monique, and the set that started. . . Something. . .
This is the first set of images that Heather and I shot together. In a 1950’s ranch house on the San Francisco Peninsula. I had convinced her to shoot with me for Me In My Place. A pay site/blog of “real women, in their homes” I’d say we killed it. Heather, aside from being a gorgeous model and woman, is an incredible business person and marketer. She’s grown to nearly a half a million followers (Insta) and is now doing incredibly well on OnlyFans The above image has received tens of thousands of likes and has been posted to countless fan accounts.
